Workplace support services

AHC will work with injured workers, employers, doctors, and insurers to create a plan that supports the worker's recovery while staying active at work. This can include modifying work tasks or environments to accommodate the worker's needs. In achieving this AHC will identify and address physical, psychological, and workplace barriers that may hinder a worker's ability to return to work. This might involve specialised assessments and recommendations for workplace modifications or equipment.

Throughout AHC will educate both workers and employers about the health benefits of returning to work and how to manage injuries and disabilities in the workplace. This helps create a supportive environment for the worker's recovery.

If returning to the pre-injury employer is not possible, AHC will provide support to the workers in the challenge of sourcing suitable new employment. This includes assessing the worker's skills and providing job-seeking support and re-training.

AHC will ensure they comply with the requirements set out by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) at all times to deliver workplace rehabilitation services within the NSW Workers Compensation scheme
